Tempest Saint  are a Traditional Metal band, hailing from Hertfordshire, and London, England, best known for their electrifying performances and powerful sound.

Formed in 2023, the band blends heavy riffs with melodic harmonies, and a bluesy approach to structure, alongside shrill vocals and a pounding rhythm section, creating a unique style that resonates with fans of the genre.

With an unbridled passion for music, and a commitment

to their craft, Tempest Saint  continue to push the

boundaries of Trad-Metal, earning a dedicated following in the local music scene. They have played prestigious venues including The Bedford Esquires, Devonshire Arms (Camden), Black Heart, Hertford Corn Exchange, The Horn (St. Albans), Signature Brew (Blackhorse Road), to name a few, completing a 28 date tour of England, entitled the "Hyperbolized, England Tour, 2025",

and embarking on the "RUN WITH THE DOGS 2026" Tour, across the UK, and parts of Europe.

Their energetic shows, and thought-provoking lyrics, make them a standout act in grassroots Heavy Metal

The band released their 8 song debut album on May 30th, 2025, entitled "Hyperbolized"
(With one Single, "Self Vilified" featuring Tim Ripper Owens, Ex - Judas Priest)

THE BAND

Joseph Curtis

Lead singer. He has been singing the style since 2018. Heavily Influenced by 80s Metal, Joe's vocal style is a combination of his Classical Operatic, Musical Theatre, and Rock training, and the distorted shrills of the likes of Eric Adams (Manowar/Bible Black), and Rob Halford (Judas Priest/Fight) as well as drawing on the the bluesy, and soul-esque vocal riffage of Corey Glover (Living Colour/Galactic), to create a foundation for his own, unique melodic style, fit for the 80's metal scene.

James O'Connor

Lead Guitarist. James has been playing guitar for 18 years, and studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music Production in London. James' main influences are the likes of Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy and Skid Row), John Sykes ( Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy and Tygers of Pan Tang), Jake E Lee (Ozzy Osbourne and Badlands), and Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society). James' style is a combination of Bluesy riffage, and 80's metal shredding, with an emphasis on emotional phrasing and good technique, throughout his playing

Luke Gould

Bass player. He has been playing the bass, keyboard, guitar are many others, for many years. For his bassplaying, he takes influence from Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies and Deftones, with an emphasis on Post-Punk and Doom Metal sensibilities. With Tempest Saint, Luke plays a Thunderbird 4-string, and multiple Bass-VI's. Luke is also a capable rhythm guitarist, having come up with riffs for songs such as "Dead Ringer" and "The Cursed", alongside O'Connor.
